Hesterberg's Rockies

Armin & Charlene Hesterberg
Gifford, Illinois

Sammy is one super sweet guy that is sired by Broken Bones Sam'son, an international champion, and a Tuttle award winner. His daddy is one of the nicest, sweetest Stallions I have ever met. And he passes that temperament on to his offspring. You will love Sammy, born May of 2008, he has a very gentle nature, and such a quiet way about him. He will finish growing somewhere about 15.1 or 15.2. His little gait is just like his mother's (Keki), she has a super sweet little gait you can ride all day. His mother is the horse we put all our beginners on when we take new people trail riding. We have had her in Tennessee, Shawnee National Forest, Midwest Trail Rides, and of course our own state park near us. She will never ever give you any kind of trouble, and she has passed that on to her son. If you want a Rocky that you can bond with and keep forever, don't pass Sammy up. You will not be sorry. Princess

Princess is all that her name implies. She has plenty of royalty for background, and just as the word princess implies, she is everything that you would expect from a filly of her background. She is out of Sonny's Silver Dollar, a many-time champion. He is blue roan, but this filly is chocolate with flaxen mane and tail. On her maternal side, she is out of Anna's Lady Christina, who is also the mother of Sam'sons Sonnet, another International Grand Champion. You combine that will her conformation, temperament, and beauty, you have a super sweet chocolate filly with flaxen mane and tail, that loves attention. If you want a future brood mare, an extreme show prospect or the nicest little trail horse you could wish for, this little princess is going to be able to fill all those wishes. Born in March of 2007, she should finish near 15.2hh. Who says you can't have it all, conformation, looks, and pedigree all wrapped up in one. Take this girl to the Internaional, and smile all the way home.

Rocket was born in March of 2007, and if you are looking for the most fantastic temperament, along with the best buddy you will ever have, combined with the sweetest easy gait of the Rockies, then you should take a hard look at Rocket. His name fools you, he was really full of mischief at birth, so he was named that, since he always took off like a rocket to play. He is so calm, and loving, everyone falls in love with him. Rocket should finish growing about 15.0, his mommy is Molly, and that is our brood mare that should have been named Angel, in fact we named his sister Angel for that reason. Molly is the totally sweetest Mare you have ever seen, the sweetest little natural gait, even chases her babies around gaiting all the time. Rocket is out of Kentucky Blue, an International Champion, and a Tuttle Award winner, so you know he comes from royalty. If you want the best ride, the best temperament, and the best buddy, you should check out Rocket. And by the way, he is the tradional chocolate color, with the flaxen mane and tail, and beautiful. You wont be disappointed.

Angel

Angel is just what her name implies, she is super sweet, has been since birth. She is just the sweetest little thing, will follow you around, looking for attention. She is out of Broken Bones Sam'son, the 2 time International Champion, and Tuttle Award winner. That pretty much says it all. He is the sweetest, calmest stallion I have ever met. Angel is the the tradional chocolate color and she looks like she will have the white mane and tail. She should finish grwoing around 15.0. Her mommy Molly is the absolute nicest horse I have had the honor to own, she should have been named Angel too, that is why we called her baby that. Molly is so naturally gaited, she chases her babies around gaiting all the time. Out of the trail, she instantly is gaiting as soon as you tell her too, and let me tell you, it is the sweetest, smoothest little gait around. Molly would never do anything wrong, she is a horse that you would put beginners on and never worry, she will take care of them. Angel was born in April of 2008 and trust me, she is worth waiting for. Let her grow up and you will have an awesome horse, attitude, temperament, companionship, and of course the looks.
